This session will provide participants with the opportunity to gain insight into the foundational understandings of infusing disability inclusive curriculum into lesson plans and everyday events. Pennsylvania's Disability Inclusive Curriculum Pilot teams, along with all grant applicants, are invited to participate in this "Kick-Off" session. Participants will learn about the various program components, meet community partners, and explore available resources. The afternoon session will provide teams with time to draft an action plan based on the results of their educational environmental scan.
Objectives
- Describe foundational understandings for implementation,
- Locate available resources to support implementation,
- Identify potential disability-led organizations/partners,
- Develop an action plan to infuse disability inclusive curriculum,

Core Team Members from PA's Disability Inclusive Curriculum Pilot, Grant Applicant Team Members, and Community Organizations/Partners
